Writing Prompt Wednesday #2

Keep Out
Who is the one person you hope isn’t reading your blog? Why?

I’ve been blogging for a while and I don’t think there’s one person that I wouldn’t want to read my blog. As a writer, I love the thought of having someone pass by and take the time to read my post of the day. I feed off of views and comments because it makes me happy to know someone is on the receiving end listening to what I have to say.

But, if I have to pick someone, I think it’ll be my professors past, present and future. I think because when I write for this blog, there’s no rules or grades. I get to decide what I want to write and if it’s good enough. I had so many professors tore me to shreds and here is where I can ignore all of that and be my own teacher.

However, I’m the type of person that doesn’t care. Doesn’t care in a sense that my writing is my writing. I’m not scared or nervous if someone in particular is reading my blog because it means that I’m hiding something and I’m not. Every Wednesday I will be getting a prompt and I don’t know what it’s going to be until the day before. I’m not going to skip it if it gets too personal because I have nothing hide. Here on Destroyed Beauty, it’s an open book. I am willing to express myself through my writing no matter what.

I wonder if my freedom of expression is going to hurt me in the future. Should I be restricting what I say or tell you all everything? Should I hold my privacy as a privilege?

Whoa, I’m definitely getting off topic.

Well I hope you enjoy the prompt from this week. What is the one person you hope isn’t reading yours?

Until then.
xx
